Episode 147 - Geeky and the Rippers

Welcome to Episode 147 of Broadcast Geeks! On this podcast we discuss all things geek and nerd related, provided our DVR’s have space and our Netflix accounts are our own and none others.  This week, the Geeks (Mitch, Jake, Jeff and Nate) are back in the Quantum Realm, under Mutiny Information Cafe, to discuss all things geek.

Word on the Comms is that nothing was accomplished this episode, however, if you are an ardent listener then you know that this is ALWAYS the case!  We got a glimpse of the blue Genie that is Will Smith and started talking about that.  As it normally goes in our conversation, we ended up a bit off track and discussed how Genies are created.  Were they people that became a Genie, or are Genies their own race?  Do you know any Genies that you could ask?

 

You can guarantee that we will talk about our favorite topics, such as the upcoming Marvel movies.  Captain Marvel is less than a month away, and despite silly fans trying to bomb review it, we believe its gonna be good.  Especially when it leads into End Game which is what everyone is still talking about.  DC has exciting news also, other than the upcoming Doom Patrol on DCU.  Aquaman seems to not only be ruling the 7 seas, but definitely still the box office!

John Stamos is our featured celebrity this week.  Are you a fan of his work, both on screen and behind the drums?  The Beach Boys were apparently.  Too bad he was never a leading man, or was he?   Let us know what you think!
