Episode 171 - Uncle Baby Billy Butcher

Welcome to Episode 171 of Broadcast Geeks! On this podcast we discuss all things geek and nerd related, provided our DVR’s have space and our Netflix accounts are our own and none others.  This week, the OG's (Mitch, Jeff, Jake, Nate and Matt Orrin) are back together, in the Quantum Realm to discuss all things geek. 

Werewolf Radar lent us our old friend, and Original Geek, Nate Balding to record with us once again.  Mitch and Jake fill him in on The Righteous Gemstones, which is where we get this weeks title.  The show has a stellar cast and delivers the laughs, as awkward as they might be.  

We jump into the world of DC and it looks glorious!  Titans is back and its been great!  The conversation jumps to Crisis, which might be the most anticipated show of the year!  It signals the end of Arrow, but more importantly it might include a certain Terry McGinnis.  Hopefully the Bat Gods are on our side!

Disney+ is a couple of months away and we started talking about Marvel properties.  The Netflix characters are in some sort of stasis, which makes us think we might see more of them.  We're also expecting a Young Avengers show.  In fact, it seems like that streaming service will be offering a ton of content across different Disney spectrums, so keep those DVR's ready!

We'd be remiss if we neglected Duck Tales, so we talk about the finale of the last season.  The first Darkwing Duck episode, which establishes the Scroogeverse, is the finale and we're expecting a few other shows to spin off.  Sad news is that Launchpad will be leaving the show.  The good news is that Launchpad will be on the new Darkwing Duck!   Let's get dangerous.
