Episode 245 - How Grogu Got His Force Back!

Despite what's happening in the world, its really down to 3 things: Boba Fett, Peacemaker, and the Righteous Gemstones.  John Goodman might have to change his name to Deadman after whats happened on the show!  Boba Fett also bringing out some major players from other Star Wars shows, such as Cad Bane.  Lots of reaction to how he looked, and whether it was accurate to the show...how did you think he looked?  Lastly, everyone's favorite non superhero show, Peacemaker, is getting more intense.  James Gunn is definitely proving himself to be a major presence in the comic book world of TV and film.  Is there anything he cannot do well?

The Book of Boba Fett, aka Mandalorian 2.5, is getting more exciting with each week.  Beloved characters making their way back and new characters making waves.  It seems that they are blending the two shows together at some point because Mando is getting a lot of screen time. What's up with that Wookie, and his aggression??  We see him commit hate crimes!  Peacemaker continues to be the most fun show to watch currently, with very likeable characters.  Eagly might be the best mascot ever.  Watch this show as quickly as possibly and prepare for the inappropriate humor.

Peacemaker is the show to watch, with John Cena shining as the title character.  Its vulgar and crude, and full of laughs and they just dropped Batmite, so there's that!  We speculate who would be best for that diminutive role.  Meanwhile, on a planet called Tatooine, we learn more about Boba Fett and his adventures as the regional Daimyo.  We finish up by jumping into the televangelical world of Righteous Gemstones.

The day we've all been dreading has finally come upon us.  Betty White has passed away, RIP Betty White.  We lament over her passing, before we talk the usual stuff.  Like Hit Monkey, which marveled all the way to the last episode!  Meanwhile, in other parts of the mouse house, Boba Fett is becoming a power house as a Daimyo on Tatooine.  We get to see what happened to the bounty hunter after escaping the Sarlac pit and hanging with the Tuskens.

We start off with the Matrix, which appears to be a tad polarizing.  Someone in our group HATED it and puts it up as the worst movie ever.  The rest of us are either undecided as to how bad it is, or just haven't watched it yet.  Have you seen it?

Hawkeye was still fresh on our minds at this point and we can't stop talking about.  However, we go a little deeper to talk about Yelena and a bit of her arc, within the show and beyond.  We digress over to other shows, such as Doom Patrol and South Side.  Very different properties but both real good.

At this point, Hawkeye is done but we are gonna be talking about this show for some time, it was that good!   Kingpin is the bad guy, with D'onofrio back as Fisk was a lot to contain, especially with Spiderman coming out the next day!  We'll talk about THAT on the next episode.

Holy primate assassin!  Hit Monkey is killer, in more ways than one.  This show is great and apparently canon so give it a watch, its good.  On the Disney+ app, we're also watching Hawkeye and that isn't disappointing us at all.  In fact, some might argue its the best of its type.  

As we are wont to do, the Turtles take over the conversation.  We talk comics and movies.  Do you have a favorite?  More importantly, which Turtle do you identify?
